Summary: The Azure Platform Architect role involves designing and building a scalable platform for automating the extraction, reconciliation, and reporting of investment data from private fund documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to extract key data from complex, unstructured private fund documents (eg, PDFs, reports, statements)
- Design ingestion pipelines to process documentation across ~200 funds efficiently and reliably
- Apply prompt engineering techniques and Azure AI tooling to improve extraction accuracy and consistency
- Ensure data quality, validation, and traceability throughout the ingestion process
- Reconcile extracted data with existing internal datasets and systems
- Build logic and workflows to identify discrepancies, flag exceptions, and ensure alignment with investment compliance requirements
- Collaborate with compliance and investment teams to refine rules and validation frameworks
- Maintain audit-ready data pipelines that meet regulatory standards
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate reconciled data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders
- Automate reporting workflows to support ongoing monitoring and decision-making
- Ensure reports are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business and compliance needs
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Services and Azure AI tooling
- Proven expertise in AI/ML-driven document processing and unstructured data extraction
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering and working with large language models
- Experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard design and data modelling
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering best practices
- Experience working with financial data, ideally within private funds or investment management
