Summary: The Azure Integration Developer role involves working with Azure technologies, particularly Azure Durable Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management, to design and secure APIs and integrate various systems. The position requires building automated deployment pipelines and ensuring code quality within an Agile/Scrum environment. Candidates should have extensive experience in software development, particularly with Azure Integration Services, and ideally have a background in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and secure APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Build event-driven workflows and integrate on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Create automated deployment pipelines using YAML and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Integrate platforms such as Student Records, Finance, VLE, and Accommodation.
- Utilize Bicep for defining and deploying Azure resources consistently.
Key Skills:
- 7 years' experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on Azure Integration Services.
- Direct experience in the higher education sector or ability to navigate complex domain-specific integrations.
- Microsoft Certified in either Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong communication skills.
