Azure Integration Services (AIS) Engineer
Whitehall Resources require an Azure Integration Services (AIS) Engineer to work with a key client on a 3-6 month contract.
*Fully remote.
*Inside IR35.
Azure Integration Services (AIS) Engineer
Our client is midway through a program of work to transform its system landscape, implementing best in class systems and modernising key platforms, integration being one of these. Integration is key to the business, and they are looking for a hardworking, skilled integration developer to join the team. The ideal candidate has a strong background and experience in Azure Cloud and Azure Integration Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and deploy integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory and API Management based on Integration best practices.
- Peer Review and Quality check integration designs produced by on/offshore team.
- Create and secure REST APIs; configure Azure API Management for scalable integration.
- Map and transform data using JSON, XML, XSLT or similar tools.
- Implement exception handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting with Azure Monitor and or similar tools
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Source code management.
- Troubleshoot integration issues promptly under pressure.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory).
- Azure DevOps, Unit Testing and CI/CD pipelines
- SOAP and REST API design and Azure API Management.
- C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Azure CLI.
- Bicep (and other DevOps scripting) knowledge.
- Microsoft SQL Server
- WCF, OAuth, managed identities, Azure AD for secure integrations.
Experience:
- More than 3 years on Azure Integration Services.
- Proven experience in complex cloud and hybrid integration projects.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in BizTalk 2013R2 onwards.
- Experience in integrating to SAP S4 Hana / CPI
- Knowledge of Power Platform/Oracle/EDI Standards
