Summary: The Azure Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in managing the Azure platform for a leading client in the Sports industry, focusing on a digital transformation initiative. This position is offered as a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days in the office each week. The engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Solution Architect and SecOps team to implement best practices and manage security platforms. Key responsibilities include deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code and ensuring adherence to the Azure Well Architected Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the Azure platform
- Work closely with the Cloud Solution Architect to deliver new services in Azure
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy and manage Azure resources
- Ensure Azure Well Architected Framework best practices are followed
- Manage Entra ID and access management
- Work alongside SecOps team to manage security platforms
- Incident and change management
