Summary: My market leading client is seeking Azure DevOps Consultants for a 6-month engagement in a public sector Azure environment. Candidates should have a consultancy background with extensive GDS experience and be available to start within a few weeks. The role requires a strong background in Azure DevOps and related technologies. The position is hybrid, based in the Southwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a public sector Azure environment as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps tools including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts.
  • Implement Azure services such as AKS, App Services, and Functions.
  • Manage Azure identity and security aspects including IAM and RBAC.
  • Monitor systems using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Automate processes with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for running CI workloads on cluster agents.
  • Employ Git-based workflows and integrate with CI systems using Jira and Confluence.
  • Demonstrate strong Linux experience and scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Groovy.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in Azure DevOps environments.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
  • Knowledge of Azure services (AKS, App Services, Functions).
  • Understanding of Azure identity/security (IAM, RBAC, Key Vault).
