Summary: This role is for an Azure DevOps Engineer within a prominent UK organization focused on cloud operations and DevOps delivery. The position involves supporting Azure services and enhancing a growing Azure-based platform while ensuring reliable service delivery and operational efficiency. The role requires strong Azure DevOps capabilities and operational support experience in a regulated environment. The contract is for an initial six months with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building, maintaining and troubleshooting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting source control, release management and deployment processes
- Administering Azure DevOps environments including repositories, agents, pipelines and environment management
- Supporting Azure cloud services and platform configuration
- Providing operational support for business-critical applications and services
- Supporting and maintaining Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages
- Supporting SharePoint Online platforms, integrations and associated services
- Developing and maintaining automation through PowerShell scripting
- Supporting incident, problem and service management activities
- Working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders within a regulated environment
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Azure cloud platform administration and support
- Experience managing repositories, pipelines, agents and release processes
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Experience supporting business-critical services in production environments
- Desirable: Experience working within regulated or enterprise-scale environments
- Exposure to ITIL-based service management practices
- Experience supporting cloud transformation or platform modernisation initiatives
Salary (Rate): £550 daily

The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting Azure services, DevOps tooling and cloud-based business applications, ensuring reliable service delivery while helping improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
