p>My client, a leader in their field are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team on an exciting 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote working and occasional onsite collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our DevOps practices, ensuring seamless deployment pipelines and robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Optimize and monitor cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement best practices for source control, branching strategies, and release management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps-related issues across environments.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer in a professional setting.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Solid Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
  • Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Certification in Azure (eg, AZ-400, AZ-104) is a plus.
