Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Azure Databricks Data Business Analyst to join a global risk consulting firm on a major data transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and data requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
- Produce user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the bridge between Data Engineers, Architects and business teams.
- Support the delivery of Azure data platform and analytics initiatives.
- Work within Agile delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst within enterprise data programmes.
- Strong understanding of Azure data technologies including:
- Azure
- Databricks
- Experience working on data transformation, migration or analytics programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience writing detailed user stories and functional requirements for development teams.
Desirable
- Experience with Power BI.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and Agile delivery practices.
