Summary: The role is for a MS Fabric Data Engineer within a global consultancy, focusing on a project in the Property Insurance sector. This contract position requires expertise in MS Fabric and related technologies, with a commitment of 1-3 days per week onsite in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize MS Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, and Notebooks, for data engineering tasks.
- Implement SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Data Pipeline Orchestration.
- Leverage Azure Data Services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Apply knowledge of the Insurance or Financial Services industry in project execution.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with MS Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, and Notebooks).
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Data Pipeline Orchestration.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse).
- Power BI experience.
- Previous experience in Insurance or Financial Services preferred.
