Rate: 450 - 500 per day (INSIDE IR35)
4 Month Contract

Skills: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python

We are looking to recruit an Azure Data Engineer on an initial 4 month contract for a technology driven public sector organisation. The Data Engineer will be responsible for BAU support and fixes in what will be a varied role.

This is an initial 4 month contract. You will be required to work on site in Brighton 1 - 2 days a week for team days.

Technical Skills:

Essential

  • Azure Databricks
  • Understanding of cloud data platforms and data storage technologies (ideally Azure).
  • Demonstrable hands-on Data Engineering development experience.
  • Excellent SQL skills at both a functional and non-functional level.
  • Understanding of data integration and workflow applications (ideally Azure Data Factory).
  • Understanding of Agile working methodologies.
  • Use of a branch-based source control.

Desirable

  • Python, Spark, C#, or other relevant programming skills
  • Development of DevOps pipelines (Test automation, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration/Deployment)
  • Experience with Dataverse and the PowerPlatform
