Summary: Azure Data Architect is needed for a 6-month contract with a fast-growing, multi-award-winning company in Worthing. The role involves designing and maintaining data architectures using Azure technologies while providing technical leadership and optimizing data workflows. The position is classified as inside IR35 and offers a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates should have proven experience in Azure data solutions and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data architectures using Azure Databricks and Synapse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust architectural solutions.
- Optimize data workflows and ensure seamless integration with various data sources.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect working within Azure.
- Expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse.
- Strong understanding of Datamodelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
