Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements
- Work with enterprise architects to define and document high-level design
- Evaluate and recommend tools based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Prepare architecture decision documents and present for governance approvals
- Design and implement data lakehouse solutions
- Model data for end-user reporting and analytics
- Ensure successful deployment of Azure data services
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance to technical teams
- Work within an agile delivery model, adapting to changes as needed
- Support knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure data platform implementations
- Strong understanding of Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Key Vault, Automation Account, PowerShell, SQL DB, and Big Data tools
- Demonstrated experience preparing and presenting high-level and detailed architecture documents
- Deep understanding of cloud-native data platform design patterns
- Ability to challenge and influence architectural decisions when necessary
