Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements
  • Work with enterprise architects to define and document high-level design
  • Evaluate and recommend tools based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Prepare architecture decision documents and present for governance approvals
  • Design and implement data lakehouse solutions
  • Model data for end-user reporting and analytics
  • Ensure successful deployment of Azure data services
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance to technical teams
  • Work within an agile delivery model, adapting to changes as needed
  • Support knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure data platform implementations
  • Strong understanding of Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Key Vault, Automation Account, PowerShell, SQL DB, and Big Data tools
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and presenting high-level and detailed architecture documents
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native data platform design patterns
  • Ability to challenge and influence architectural decisions when necessary
