Summary: The Azure Data Architect role involves leading the architecture, design, and deployment of modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric for a global digital transformation leader. The position is strategic and hands-on, focusing on enabling data-driven innovation for large organizations. Two roles are available, one for a Gulf Region client and another for a UK Utilities client, both requiring expertise in Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and deploying data platforms and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and medallion architecture.
- Lead platform deployment into production environments.
- Collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
- Architect a scalable enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric.
- Design solutions spanning multiple subsidiaries under a common parent group.
- Partner with client stakeholders to shape data strategy, governance, and platform adoption.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying Microsoft Fabric platforms.
- Deep knowledge of lakehouse and medallion architecture principles.
- Proficiency with Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Role Overview In these roles, you'll be leading the architecture, design, and deployment of modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. Both positions are strategic, hands-on, and critical to enabling data-driven innovation for large organisations.
Role 1: Fabric Architect – Gulf Region Client
- Location: Fully Remote (Client based in Kuwait)
- Duration: Initial 3 months, likely extension up to 12+ months
