Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture Design: Design and implement data architectures on Azure, including Data Lake, Synapse, and Data Factory.
- Data Pipeline Development: Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other relevant tools.
- Data Storage Management: Optimize and manage data storage within the Data Lake.
- Databricks Expertise: Utilize Databricks for data transformation and analysis workloads, including PySpark.
- Data Governance: Implement data governance policies and processes, potentially including tools like Azure Purview.
- Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models for various data products and domains.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Data Factory.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling principles and concepts.
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including PySpark and other relevant components.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and practices.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures.
- Knowledge of data quality and lineage tracking.
