Azure is the dominant cloud platform across large UK enterprises, financial services, healthcare, and the public sector, making it one of the highest-volume specialist areas in the technology contracting market.
Azure contractors are expected to have deep practical knowledge of the core Azure service portfolio. Compute services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Functions are widely used across engagements. Data platform experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Factory is increasingly expected alongside infrastructure skills.
