Summary: The Azure Cloud Security Architect role involves designing and implementing security services for Azure and multi-cloud environments within a leading digital consultancy. The position requires extensive experience in cloud security architecture and collaboration with engineering teams to enhance security measures. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in London, and is initially for a three-month project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in securing applications and infrastructure while fostering a culture of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope, design, build and operate Azure and multi-cloud security services for engineering teams.
• Define high-level and low-level security architecture design and solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Design secure system architectures to meet user needs while managing risks.
• Develop, test, and deliver Security Policy as code for Public Cloud services and Container platforms.
• Convert industry standard controls into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Support architects in making scalable design choices within Cloud services.
• Deliver solutions in identity management, network protection, cloud security, and security monitoring.
• Collaborate with application development teams to enable secure coding practices.
• Review and enhance current security measures.
• Secure applications and infrastructure, identifying and resolving vulnerabilities.
• Research modern technologies for compliance and controls.
• Understand cloud-based Key Management services and their integration.
• Embed DevSecOps practices for quality and compliance in infrastructure code.

Key Skills:

• 8+ years in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Security Engineering, or related roles.
• Experience deploying and maintaining multi-cloud foundation services and container orchestrator platforms.
• Ability to create threat models and define application controls.
• Experience with SIEM & SOAR tools.
• Familiarity with Rapid7 SIEM tooling is a bonus.
• Quick learner of new platforms, languages, tools, and techniques.
