Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing current infrastructure resilience and recovery capabilities
- Defining DR architecture and infrastructure requirements
- Providing cost analysis and technical recommendations
- Producing a delivery roadmap for DR implementation
- Managing and optimising Azure cloud infrastructure
- Supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Administration of Microsoft 365/enterprise users
- Supporting VPN and secure connectivity for engineering teams
- Maintaining cloud security best practices
- Working with developers to support infrastructure design and improvements
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure and architecture experience
- Azure networking (VNets, Gateways, NSG, Firewall)
- Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Cloud security and operational best practices
- Comfortable working independently in a small technical team
- Terraform or Bicep

We're working with a growing fintech organisation seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support their cloud platform and deliver a Disaster Recovery architecture review and design.
This is a hands-on contract role suited to a senior engineer who enjoys working closely with engineering teams while owning infrastructure improvements in Azure.
Project Scope
The initial engagement will focus on designing and defining the organisation's Disaster Recovery capability across their Azure environment.
Key deliverables include:
- Reviewing current infrastructure resilience and recovery capabilities
- Defining DR architecture and infrastructure requirements
- Providing cost analysis and technical recommendations
