Summary: The Azure Cloud Engineer role is a 6-month contract position within the Financial Services sector, requiring an experienced engineer with expertise in application governance and cloud platform management on Azure. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud-hosted applications and information assets in compliance with governance frameworks
- Implement and maintain application governance policies and processes
- Support the creation, review, and approval of HLDDs on the Azure platform
- Collaborate with architects and SMEs to ensure alignment with enterprise architectural standards
- Coordinate deliverables and timelines across multiple stakeholders
- Facilitate technical discussions and design reviews

My client, within Financial Services, are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract role. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong grasp of application governance and cloud platform management within Azure. The role is requiring 4 days a week in Bournemouth for an initial 6 month contract. Role paying £750 P/D. This is not an architecture role, but a solid understanding of architecture principles is essential. You’ll be working closely with Engineering SMEs to produce High-Level Design Documents (HLDDs) and ensure governance standards are met throughout the delivery lifecycle.
