Summary: The Azure Cloud Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions within a regulated environment. This position requires hands-on expertise in Azure architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective service integration and delivery. The contract is for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards
- Lead implementation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure Pipelines
- Build and manage containerised solutions using Kubernetes (AKS) and serverless tools
- Implement GitOps, monitoring, identity integration, and automation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service integration and delivery
Key Skills:
- 5+ years hands-on Azure architecture experience in complex, regulated environments
- Strong background in Terraform, IaC, Azure networking, AKS, and DevSecOps
- Confident documenting and presenting both high- and low-level designs
- Proven experience supporting secure software delivery lifecycles
- Self-starter with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
