Summary: The role of Azure Architect / .NET Developer involves architecting and implementing large Azure-based systems, particularly in the financial services sector. The candidate will also mentor junior developers and work primarily on-site in London for three days a week. Flexibility in working arrangements may be available after an initial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement large Azure-based systems.
- Manage large data high-profile performance transactions.
- Oversee systems migration from AWS to Azure.
- Implement event-driven processes across an asynchronous architecture.
- Utilize Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, and Message Bus.
- Provide knowledge of Cosmos Database or Data Cubes.
- Act as the Azure expert within the team.
- Code in .NET and Python.
- Mentor and train junior developers.
Key Skills:
- Excellent Azure architecture experience.
- Proficient in .NET development.
- Experience with AWS to Azure migration.
- Knowledge of event-driven processes and asynchronous architecture.
- Familiarity with Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, and Message Bus.
- Understanding of Cosmos Database or Data Cubes.
- Coding experience in .NET and Python.
- Mentoring skills for junior developers.
