Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end On-prem/Public Cloud assessments using Azure Migrate and design robust Azure Landing Zones.
- Develop High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, including comprehensive target architecture diagrams and Bill of Materials (BoM).
- Drive large-scale migrations of Linux-based workloads to Azure, ensuring solutions align with TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI goals.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Linux environments, managing kernel tuning, logical volumes, shell scripting, and advanced networking.
- Oversee Azure IAM, Key Vault, and general security protocols within a UNIX environment to ensure compliant and hardened architectures.
- Implement and tune high-performance web stacks using Apache, Varnish for caching, and HAProxy for load balancing.
- Manage and technically govern a team of 5+ infrastructure engineers, providing guidance on root-cause analysis and complex troubleshooting.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years in IT, with at least 5+ years focused on Azure Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS, Networking, Storage).
- Proven track record using Azure Migrate and driving complex solutioning for banking, healthcare, or insurance domains.
