Azure Architect

Summary: The Azure & Cloud Specialist role involves designing and implementing secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure and networking solutions. The position requires extensive experience with Azure services and networking, as well as a focus on security and compliance. The specialist will ensure high availability and cost optimization of enterprise Azure environments. This is a contract position classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure Azure cloud infrastructure and networking solutions.
• Manage Azure cloud services including VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, and Storage.
• Configure Azure networking components such as VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Utilize Terraform, ARM Templates, and PowerShell for infrastructure management.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure Azure security best practices, including Azure AD, RBAC, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and networking.
• Proficiency in Terraform, ARM Templates, and PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure security practices and compliance.
