Azure Architect - Cloud, AI Foundry
Summary: The Azure Architect role involves leading the design and evolution of an enterprise Azure platform, focusing on creating a self-service foundation for modern data and AI workloads. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to provide architectural direction while promoting best practices. This is an opportunity to influence cloud strategy and provide technical leadership across multiple teams. The role is hybrid, allowing for a blend of remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and evolution of our enterprise Azure platform.
- Design Azure Landing Zones aligned to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Define architecture across governance, security, networking, identity and shared services.
- Ensure the platform supports modern data platforms and AI workloads, including Microsoft Foundry based applications and AI agents.
- Promote platform engineering best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, providing clear architectural direction.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience designing enterprise scale Azure platforms.
- Expertise in Azure Landing Zones and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Experience across governance, security, networking, identity and shared services.
- An understanding of data platforms and modern AI workloads in Azure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence cloud strategy while providing technical leadership across Platform Engineering, Solution Architecture and Digital Delivery teams.
