Summary: The Axway Engineer role focuses on supporting migration efforts from on-premises systems to the cloud, involving hands-on engineering tasks such as building servers and setting up FTP processes. The position requires expertise in Linux and Unix servers, along with experience in Axway technologies. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain technology solutions while adhering to best practices in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technology solutions and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design
- Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
- Use test driven development in an agile environment
- Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for technology solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions
- Consistently apply best practices and drive for continuous improvement
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Other duties as assigned
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Axway Engineer
- Linux and Unix expertise
- Experience with Axway Sentinel
- Experience with Axway Secure Transport
- Ability to stand up FTP servers
- MS SQL knowledge
- Cloud migration experience, preferably with AWS (nice to have)
- Experience with MOVEit Automation (nice to have)
- Experience with MOVEit Transfer (nice to have)
