Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect with enhanced DV clearance to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves leading technical aspects of AWS cloud migrations and collaborating with customers to design cloud-native solutions. The position is hybrid, allowing work from London, Leeds, or Manchester, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical aspects of AWS cloud migrations.
- Elicit requirements and define migration patterns and reference architectures.
- Support and maintain re-usable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns to enable automation and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver standardised, high-quality solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Promote best practices in security, automation, and DevOps.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in large-scale AWS cloud migrations and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security, networking, and DevOps tooling.
- Confident in stakeholder management and agile working environments.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Security, Networking) desirable.
- SAFe or similar Agile certification desirable.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- UK Enhanced DV Clearance required.
