Summary: The AWS QA Engineer role focuses on QA automation for cloud-native applications, particularly in serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct QA automation for cloud-native applications, focusing on serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and REST tools.
  • Implement automation using Jest, Java/Spring Boot, or similar technologies.
  • Integrate CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Kinesis Data Streams, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Test microservices and support application modernization efforts.
  • Monitor applications using CloudWatch and AWS CDK.
  • Explore AI-assisted testing and GenAI tools, preferably AWS Kiro.

Key Skills:

  • Strong QA and automation testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Kinesis Data Streams, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Experience testing serverless and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in API testing using Postman or REST tools.
  • Automation experience using Jest, Java/Spring Boot, or similar.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with CloudWatch and AWS CDK.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing and GenAI tools (AWS Kiro preferred).

We are hiring an experienced AWS QA Engineer for a contract role in London. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in QA automation for cloud-native applications, especially serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS.
