Summary: The AWS Platform Engineer role at EOS IT Solutions involves designing and developing cloud-native solutions while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native solutions using the client’s development standards and best practices.
- Development and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions, configuration, and AWS service integration across a range of delivery projects.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code implementations for services deployment and configuration.
- Implement and maintain automated testing and deployment pipelines.
- Build and integrate AWS services including but not limited to Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, and Grafana.
- Work closely with internal customers and teams to facilitate smooth project execution in coordination with Technical Program Managers and internal engineers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and processes.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a cloud platform developer with deployments for large-scale AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure development including Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS.
- 5+ years software development experience with proven expertise in at least one programming language.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience working with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
- 2+ years of experience with Cisco ThousandEyes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- AWS Certifications preferred.
