Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on migrating various workloads and services to AWS. The successful candidate will enhance and optimize our cloud infrastructure, working closely with Senior and Lead Engineers. This role involves hands-on experience with AWS services and DevOps practices. The position offers an opportunity to work in a technologically advanced environment within a leading aerospace company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the migration of AWS HPC workloads and NOMAD server to AWS Batch.
  • Assist in the migration of IBM MQ client to AWS ECS.
  • Help with the migration of RDS PostgreSQL databases and S3 data.
  • Contribute to the migration of GitLab to GitHub and container images to AWS.
  • Write DevOps pipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Terraform and Cloudformation.
  • Implement Athena on S3 for data querying and analysis.
  • Work under the guidance of Senior and Lead Engineers to complete tasks.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with AWS services, including Batch, ECS, RDS, S3, and Athena.
  • Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Terraform and Cloudformation.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration projects.
  • Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
