Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD (GitOps) and Helm.
- Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related automation tools.
- Support the containerization and migration of legacy batch components into modern Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve build, deployment, and operational processes.
- Maintain and enhance version control, artifact registries, and pipeline integrations.
- Ensure alignment with AWS best practices for reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with DevOps practices and automation-first delivery.
- Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Helm or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools.

Client is based is Manchester and Newcastle, but it is expected most of the work will be remote, any resources need to be aware they may be needed onsite 2 days a week in either Manchester or Newcastle and maybe London.
Must be UK Citizen and should be comfortable with BPSS clearances which will be taken care by client
DevOps required to support HLD + prototyping phase on Move to Cloud program of major Government department Database platform.
