Summary: Our client is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer for a freelance B2B contract lasting 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. The role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days on-site in Belfast and 2 days remote. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AWS and related DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Work as an AWS DevOps Engineer in a freelance capacity.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitLab CI.
- Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
- Implement GitOps principles and tools, particularly ArgoCD.
- Collaborate on the build and deployment processes for .NET and React applications.
- Adhere to security best practices (DevSecOps).
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in a major cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab CI.
