Summary: The AWS DevOps and Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing AWS infrastructure and DevOps practices. The role emphasizes high availability, scalability, and reliability while focusing on automation to enhance operational efficiency. The position requires extensive hands-on experience and proficiency in various AWS tools and methodologies. The specialist will work in a hybrid model, spending three days a week in the London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, implement, manage, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD infrastructure using AWS native tools and other platforms.
- Utilize automation tooling for infrastructure provisioning and DevOps workflows.
- Implement configuration management using tools like Chef and Puppet.
- Design and implement log aggregation and monitoring frameworks using AWS stack.
- Build and maintain automated monitoring and alerting for distributed systems.
- Manage Linux/Unix systems and ensure security and networking fundamentals.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and cost-effective AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Define and implement DevSecOps practices and manage microservices architectures.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and DevOps processes.
- Proficiency in AWS stack and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, and Shell Scripting.
- Deep knowledge of networking, Linux/Unix OS, and security concepts.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification required.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with automated monitoring and alarming systems.
