AWS Developer - SC cleared

Summary: The AWS Developer role requires an SC cleared professional to develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and related services, primarily using Node.js. The position is based in London or Leeds with a hybrid working arrangement and is expected to last for 3 months with potential for extension. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with AWS services and proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript or Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and related services using Node.js.
• Support deployment and maintenance of services within the Amazon Connect ecosystem.
• Contribute to route-to-live processes for new features and innovations hosted on AWS.
• Implement secure, efficient solutions aligned with the development standards for handling sensitive data.
• Collaborate with case management and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimise AWS-hosted services for performance and reliability.
• Apply DevOps principles where relevant (eg, run CI/CD pipelines), but with a strong focus on application development.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (eg, Lambda essential).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Node.js for Back End development.
• Familiarity with Amazon Connect and/or AI model deployment on AWS.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
• SC Clearance or eligibility (minimum 5 years UK residency).
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for deployment automation (nice-to-have).
• Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integration (nice-to-have).

Salary (Rate): £482 daily
