Summary: The AWS & Data Architect role involves providing technical leadership for an AWS data platform within a key Financial Services client. The successful candidate will possess expertise in data and infrastructure, with a focus on AI/ML projects. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with two days on-site in London and the remainder remote. The contract is for six months rolling, with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical leadership of AWS data platform – data modelling, warehousing and integration
- Optimising data pipelines for increased data ingestion / processing
- Implementing Big Data architectures within AWS
- Developing data transformation and processing with Python and SQL
- Developing data modelling frameworks
- Utilising modern tools such as Databricks and Dremio
- Working within DevOps and CI/CD environments with Git for version control
- Working extensively with stakeholders to gather and define requirements

The role: My client are seeking an AWS Architect to join them to work for a key Financial Services client. The successful candidate will have technical skills across both Data and Infrastructure. You will also have experience to working on either AI/ML projects. You will be required to work on site in London City 2 days per week, with the remainder remote.
