Summary: The AWS Cloud Solutions Architect role involves architecting, designing, and delivering significant AWS public cloud projects, focusing on PaaS and SaaS services. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to implement complex enterprise-scale solutions while providing technical guidance and expertise. The architect will also be responsible for ensuring security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments. An active SC Clearance and AWS Solution Architect-Professional certification are mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver AWS public cloud projects, including PaaS and SaaS services.
• Support implementation and transformation programs for complex enterprise-scale solutions.
• Collaborate with Architects, Subject Matter Experts, and Solution Designers on IT solutions.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to resolve complex client issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Identify and recommend cloud architecture options and tools.
• Design technical reference models and roadmaps for AWS implementations.
• Provide high-level design for AWS architecture and configurations.
• Enforce security best practices and compliance standards in AWS.
• Utilize AWS well-architected framework for solutions.
• Architect public/hybrid cloud solutions with AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Design services using container services (K8S, EKS, Fargate).
• Ensure cloud observability using CloudWatch, EventBridge, and X-Ray.
• Automate architectures using EventBridge, System Manager, and Lambda.
• Understand enterprise integration patterns and CI/CD practices.
• Utilize AWS cost management tools and strategies.
• Maintain AWS Solution Architect-Professional certification.
