Summary: The AWS Cloud Solutions Architect role at JP Morgan in London involves developing the next generation internal cloud platform over a 10-month contract. The position requires collaboration across teams to enhance architecture platforms and support the adoption of strategic global solutions. The architect will also be responsible for governance frameworks, migration pathways, and influencing architecture strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the function.
- Contribute to the development of technical methods in line with product development methodologies.
- Partner with teams to define governance frameworks for compliance and security.
- Develop a shared responsibility model for applications moving to the new cloud platform.
- Test and validate application groups and new features in Atlas 2.0.
- Build out adoption procedures and contribute to onboarding materials.
- Facilitate migration pathways and collaborate with Application Owners for execution.
- Ensure Atlas 2.0's architecture aligns with Corporate Technology needs.
- Partner with the developer experience team on the enablement of ATLAS 2.0 Cloud Lab.
Key Skills:
- Formal training or certification in AWS and data management concepts.
- Extensive experience leading technologists in complex technical problem-solving.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture and application development.
- Experience in cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technologies.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively to Senior Leaders and Executives.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
