Summary: The AWS Cloud Network Architect role is a 6-month contract position focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud networking solutions within a complex enterprise environment. The architect will serve as a technical authority on AWS-based programs as part of a broader cloud transformation initiative. The position requires hands-on expertise in cloud network architecture and collaboration with various stakeholders. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site each week in either London or Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver cloud networking solutions for enterprise customers.
- Act as the Technical Design Authority for network and cloud architecture projects.
- Design and deploy AWS landing zones to support application teams.
- Develop and define cloud solution architectures leveraging AWS services.
- Build and maintain reusable architecture patterns and best practices.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and architectural guidance.
- Deliver architectural training and knowledge sharing to business and technical teams.
- Write and maintain cloud networking content for internal knowledge platforms.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and take ownership of cloud deliveries.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud and open-source technologies.
