Summary: The AWS Cloud Engineer role involves joining a platform team for a 6-month contract focused on infrastructure modernization. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise AWS services, especially EC2, EBS, IAM basics, and Security Groups.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including patching and performance issues.
- Work on improving and automating the hosting platform across hybrid setups.
- Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams to maintain stable, secure services.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in VMware/vSphere, Windows Server, and hybrid troubleshooting.
- Bonus skills in Linux, NSX, and automation tools.

My client is looking for someone to join their platform team to help with Infrastructure modernisation. You will be supporting both on-prem VMware environments & AWS Cloud services.
