Key Responsibilities:
- Delight customers through the design of affordable, sustainable cloud solutions
- Ensure designs align with evolving strategic Cloud platforms
- Serve as Technical Design Authority for new Cloud Technologies focusing on GenAI
- Provide consultancy, best practice, and architectural support to internal teams
- Stay abreast of the latest Cloud technologies
Key Skills:
- Proficient in AWS, with equivalent AWS Certification
- Experience of creating architectural patterns and technology evaluations
- Experience of building solutions in AWS
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and curiosity
- Able to articulate complex technical problems to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of modern application architectures and their dependencies on the Cloud infrastructure platform
- Other Cloud provider experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working in a regulated workplace (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in presenting and sharing knowledge to a variety of audiences (preferred but not essential)
- Good understanding of Cloud Architecture design principles, e.g., AWS Well Architected Framework
- Knowledge of n-Tier Architectures, Event Driven Architecture, Serverless, network and Cloud security
- Configuration and Lifecycle management
- CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and modern SDLC methodologies
- Business Protection Standards, CIS Benchmarks or ISO 27001
