AWS Architect – Cloud Migration (IPG)

Summary: The AWS Architect will lead a cloud migration initiative for payment systems, focusing on creating scalable and secure architecture on AWS. This role involves designing and implementing AWS cloud architecture, managing migrations, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The architect will collaborate with engineering teams and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Strong expertise in AWS services and payment systems is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and implement AWS cloud architecture for payment platforms
• Define and implement routing logic for high-volume transaction systems
• Lead Kubernetes-based application and Oracle database migration to AWS
• Collaborate with engineering teams for seamless migration and integration
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Argo, Helm, and related tools
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and security standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after migration

Key Skills:

• Strong experience as an AWS Architect / Cloud Architect
• Hands-on expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Experience with Oracle databases migration
• Proficiency in Terraform / CloudFormation (IaC)
• Experience in CI/CD tools (Argo, Helm, etc.)
• Good understanding of payment systems & security compliance (PCI-DSS)
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
