Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with program managers and service delivery teams to plan, architect, and guide complex infrastructure deployments and migrations.
- Work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy, and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest Azure/AVS and VMware products to propose designs to customers.
- Act as a subject matter trainer for other specialists and share knowledge through solution documents.
- Engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training materials.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of IT experience.

AVS Architect 12 Month Contract London - Hybrid Working (2 days per week in office) 12+ years of IT experience and minimum 3 years of experience on Azure VMware Solution and 5+ years of experience on VMware vSphere, Azure cloud services deployments, and cloud migrations.
Responsibilities
- You will partner with program managers and service delivery teams to plan, architect, and guide complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers, moving customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.
- You will work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy and processes for successful design, deployment & migrations.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure/AVS and VMware products in order to propose designs to customers and act as subject matter trainer for other specialists.
- Share knowledge with others through solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training.
Successful Candidate Competencies:
- Relevant experience in architecting and designing datacentre and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware’s Core Cloud Infrastructure Technical Skills Azure VMware Solution VMware vSphere 6.0 and above.
- VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise Experience with on-premises-to-Cloud or cloud-to-cloud migrations with VMware HCX VMware NSX-T network virtualization technologies.
- NSX edge services (DNS, DHCP, Gateway Firewall, Distributed Firewall) NSX implementation NSX migration from vlan or NSX-v VMware vSAN VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication.
