Summary: The Avionics Technician role involves performing avionics modifications and maintenance in compliance with approved data and engineering documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Precise wiring terminations and testing
- Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements
- Loom manufacture and testing
- Support avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Key Skills:
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship — ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
- Previous aircraft modification experience
- Previous aircraft production experience is advantageous
- Excellent hand skills
- Attention to detail
- Eligible to work and live in the UK
- Subject to UK security Vetting
- Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems
