Role Description Newcastle College Aviation Academy are seeking a Lecturer to join their Higher Education delivery team. Based at Newcastle International Airport, the academy delivers a BSc (Hons) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering whilst also being a UK Civil Aviation Authority Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation, approved to deliver Part 66 Aircraft Engineering training for the B1.1 license. Candidates considering this role must have a relevant aviation or engineering-based qualification, plus, ideally, experience with aircraft maintenance. This role focuses on the electrical/avionic aspects of aircraft maintenance, and the ability to deliver maths and physics would also be an advantage. A recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage but, for the right candidate, a commitment to study and gain one could be agreed.
