Role Description Newcastle College Aviation Academy are seeking a Lecturer to join their Further Education delivery team. Based at Newcastle International Airport, the academy delivers a BTEC Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. This course is a vital stepping stone for students progressing onto our degree and Civil Aviation Authority Part 66 approved training course. Ideally candidates considering this role must have relevant aviation or engineering-based qualification, plus, ideally, experience with aircraft maintenance. This role focuses though on maths, science and basic electrical knowledge and may suit a candidate willing to learn how to apply these subjects to the aircraft maintenance engineer role. A recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage but, for the right candidate, a commitment to study and gain one could be agreed.
