Summary: The Avaloq Project Manager (Technical Implementation) role involves overseeing the integration, build, configuration, and deployment processes of the Avaloq platform within a financial services consultancy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration, build, configuration, and deployment of Avaloq releases, ensuring stability and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain the Avaloq development, test, and production environments.
  • Oversee change management processes, ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts to optimize Avaloq system performance.
  • Drive automation in deployment and testing to streamline delivery cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, build, and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Ensure robust version control and release management strategies are in place.
  • Provide technical guidance on Avaloq system architecture and enhancements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align Avaloq platform changes with business needs.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Avaloq Banking Suite in an Integration Build Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Avaloq scripting, parameterization, and integration methodologies.
  • Experience with release management, change management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and database management (Oracle, PL/SQL).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Exposure to banking and financial services integration processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
