We are seeking an experienced AV Project Engineer to support the delivery of Audio Visual and Unified Communications projects across customer sites throughout London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV Project Engineer to work on enterprise-scale AV deployments, delivering cutting-edge collaboration and meeting room technologies for a range of customers.
Your responsibilities as the AV Project Engineer:
- Install, configure and commission Audio Visual and Unified Communications solutions.
- Lead technical delivery activities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, test plans and as-built documentation.
- Configure, test and troubleshoot video conferencing and meeting room technologies.
- Support customer acceptance testing and project handover activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and subcontractors during project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards and SCC delivery methodologies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex AV and collaboration technology issues.
As a successful AV Project Engineer, you will have:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise Audio Visual projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex Room Systems, Crestron, Logitech Rally Solutions, Poly Video Conferencing Systems, Biamp DSP Platforms and Extron Technologies.
- Experience commissioning and integrating AV solutions within corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of AV networking principles.
- Hands-on experience with room control systems, audio DSPs and video distribution platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within structured project delivery environments.
- A proactive and professional approach with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider project team.
