Summary: PE Global is seeking an Automotive Test Engineer for a 12-month contract with a multinational industrial manufacturing client in Desford. The role involves conducting vehicle testing and validation, developing test plans, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for vehicle systems and components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical vehicle systems and components to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement test methodologies and equipment.
• Monitor and report on test results, including issue management to achieve People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost targets.
• Develop equipment specifications and installation requirements, ensuring safety and manufacturing needs are met.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive DFM and best manufacturing practices.

Key Skills:

• Degree in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering or design engineering.
