Summary: The role of Automotive Process Engineer at Segula Technologies involves developing and implementing manufacturing processes for electric vehicle battery assembly. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities.
- Detailed planning and implementation of installation timing plans with suppliers.
- Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA’s.
- Verify assembly processes and equipment at suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
- Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
- Support resolution of technical issues.
- Plan, develop, and implement all written processes for manufacturing and tooling.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, and product launch.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams and support projects from concept to launch.
- Proficiency in CAD packages (e.g., Catia V6 & Teamcentre) for reviewing engineering drawings.
- Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills for technical and manufacturing issues.
