Summary: The role of Automotive Process Engineer at Segula Technologies involves developing and implementing manufacturing processes for electric vehicle battery assembly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities.
  • Detailed planning and implementation of installation timing plans with suppliers.
  • Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA’s.
  • Verify assembly processes and equipment at suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
  • Support resolution of technical issues.
  • Plan, develop, and implement all written processes for manufacturing and tooling.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, and product launch.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and support projects from concept to launch.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages (e.g., Catia V6 & Teamcentre) for reviewing engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technical and manufacturing issues.
