Summary: Expleo is looking for a proactive Electrical Engineer with a background in Automotive Electrical Engineering to support new vehicle launch readiness for a luxury car manufacturer in the West Midlands. This contract role involves research, design, and testing of electrical components and systems, as well as managing projects and supporting plant activities. The ideal candidate will have previous launch experience and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A driving license is essential for this position.

Do you have a background in Automotive Electrical Engineering?

Expleo are seeking a highly organised and proactive Electrical Engineer, who will be part of the wider launch team, supporting new vehicle launch readiness. This role is supporting our client, a luxury car Manufacturer, based in the West Midlands, on a Contract basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:

Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Supporting plant activities
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Managing projects/processes

Qualifications and skills required for the Electrical Engineer include:

Previous launch experience around End of line and integration support
Ability to ready Electrical diagrams
Good understanding of vehicle launch and supporting plant activities
Canalyer experience
Ability to work on your own and as part of a launch team
Diving license is essential
Conversant with software download tools
