Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Automation scripts including estimates, scripts, and pre/post conditioning.
• Execute Automated Tests and compile evidence for progress reporting.
• Communicate test execution details, data used, results, and defects to stakeholders.
• Engage with functional teams to understand gherkin tests and necessary conditions.
• Create query logs, mind maps, and flow charts.
• Develop Automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, and Cucumber.
• Set up and execute Automated tests, recording evidence.
• Raise defects with detailed information.
• Hand over stabilized automated scripts to functional and feature teams.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to track deliverables during automation phases.
• Complete tasks within schedule constraints.
• Provide guidance to team members on technology/application queries.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Automation testing using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and JQuery.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jenkins setup.
• Exposure to banking domain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HTML DOM structure and application design.
