Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
- Perform API testing using REST Assured and validate backend services
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI / Jenkins
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality at every stage
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
- Perform database validation using SQL queries
- Participate in sprint planning, test strategy, and estimation activities
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation

Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing / SDET role
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright
- Solid experience in API testing using REST Assured
- Experience working with CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good understanding of software testing principles and QA lifecycle
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) - Nice to Have
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) - Nice to Have
